As on 29th December, India reported 797 new covid cases, the highest in 225 days. The number of current active cases stands at 4,097. In a span of 24 hours, 5 deaths had been reported. There’s a new variant known as Covid Variant JN. 1 which was found in 145 cases reported till 28th December. With the world and especially India still reeling from the effects of the major Covid outbreak, will have to gear up for another one?
